Critical Infrastructure Protection

This page shows critical infrastructure coverage over time, a detailed list of the hijacks that occurred, and details about the network prefixes that the name servers of the ccTLDs in the region contain (reporting potential routing anomalies that might affect critical infrastructure). Other TLDs that have these same name servers in their NS Set (the set of name servers that resolve that domain) are also reported. In all cases, critical infrastructure is considered to include all name servers resolving country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) such as .uy, .br, or .mx.

The following chart shows the evolution of prefixes covered by ROAs over time. This is a sample of the degree of protection of critical infrastructure prefixes against potential hijack attempts. It is possible to select by protocol (IPv4 or IPv6) and also by country. Unique Prefix/Origin AS pairs are counted.
